In Memory of Margaret Moody. Born ?? 29, 1803 (or 1808), died May 3, 1876.

In Memory of A. McOnall ???, born July 1810, died 1861.

J. P. Moody, May 23, 1823 - June 7, 1895

Aryin Moody, born May 21, 1849 died Jan. 1, 1893.  "Rest In Peace"

James P. Norton, 1818-1861

There are many graves in this area.  But the location of it being next to the Bucatunna Creek, many of the headstones washed out.   This is the reason that the Salem Methodist Church was relocated and a new cemetery started beside it.  The old church was a log church.

This graveyard also had blacks buried at the back of the cemetery with a fence separating them.

I was told that a Sam McQuaig was buried here also around 1914.  His brothers name was John.
